- The procedure is performed under local anaesthetic and takes approximately 90 minutes to complete
- The surgeon will remove the excess skin for Upper Eyelid procedures
- For Lower Eyelid procedures, both excess skin and areas of the fat pads (which cause the 'baggy' appearance) will be removed
- The wound is then closed with sutures and a dressing is applied
- This is a walk-in-walk-out procedure, once the procedure is complete, you can go home on the same day
- You will be given a post operative care pack to take home with you after your procedure
- We will see you on day 2 post-op to change the dressings and assess the wounds
- Stitches will need to be removed 7 days (in most cases) after the procedure
- The surgeon will see you four months later for a final check-up
- Our team will arrange your complimentary suture removal as part of our aftercare process
- You will be given an out-of-hours emergency number if you have any questions post procedure
