- Nipple Reduction is a procedure that decreases the height and/or width of the nipple.
- It is a procedure requested by both men and women who feel that their nipples are larger in proportion to the rest of the breast.
- The procedure is done under local anaesthetic and takes approximately 60 minutes.
- There is a small incision and removal of tissue excess. The wound is closed using stitches and covered with dressings.
- This is a walk-in-walk-out procedure, once the procedure is complete, you can go home on the same day
- You will be given a post operative care pack to take home with you after your procedure
- Stitches will need to be removed 14 days (in most cases) after the procedure
- The surgeon will see you four months later for a final check-up
- Our team will arrange your complimentary suture removal as part of our aftercare process
- You will be given an out-of-hours emergency number if you have any questions post procedure
